Mountain View / Kangemi

If you live in Mt. View Estates or Kangemi, the best way to tell if you have service is to turn on your computer and look for our wireless network. Our SSID (network name) will be JoinAfrica and then a number. For example "JoinAfrica 210".

To join, connect to the JoinAfrica SSID, open a web browser and browse to a common web site such aslike "www.google.com". You will be presented with a splash page. Follow the instructions on the page to join.

Njabini

In the next few weeks, the Njabini network will open to the public, with scratch card purchasing and computer training services from Peter Murimi's Cyber.

ARO Fablab

Thanks to some help from Boris Taratutin, the ARO Fablab will also be online any day now. When the network is ready, this page will be updated with the contact information to get online there.
